Week 3 - Updates

After a discussion of my 3 useless ideas with Steve, I've made progress on the type of project I'm going for, which is a novel, but not the topic for my project. I am currently lost and have no ideas, a sudden blast of creativity from the heavens would be greatly appreciated right now!

While coming up with ideas for my topic, I found myself leaning towards themes such as coming of age and family, I figured I could even give reading the book Great Expectations by Charles Dickens a shot. On the other hand, I did find some lovely examples to use as references for my project.

I decided to create my book as a website, but in order to keep things interesting I thought that adding some media elements would be better. The ones below are some examples that really caught my eye, and I thought they pretty interesting for what I want to do.

I have always been the type of person who enjoys cute things, animals and pastels would honestly be my go to. I've also held an interest in photography, not that I'm any good at it but hey practice makes perfect I guess!😕 The images above really caught my attention, especially the worm picture, it was cute and absolutely adorable, and it made me want to try doing it too.

I guess these would be considered digital images? I just thought they were an exciting way to blend art and photography and perhaps provide something exciting to my project. I just love the combination of it all and depending on the art style I could potentially match it all up with each other to make one cohesive brand to go with whatever story I come up with, so I have high hopes to pull it off.
