Website Redesign

Found my website rather hideous after adding some of the contents, so I am now doing some redesigning. I figured I may even change my menu since I find it very unaesthetically (if that's a word) pleasing.

The ones on top are the previous menu designs and I decided to go for something slimmer and sleeker and less in your face. I'm quite happy with this new design, it's out of the way but at the same time easy to access.

I also researched some more websites to reference and take inspiration from, my classmates have been particularly helpful in providing advice on the design aspect. Obviously they suggested Pinterest, but I find myself still having trouble figuring out the design I want to go for. At times I even feel like my colour palette no longer suits the feel I was going for, but I'm rather hesitant to change it.

By the way here are some storytelling websites I have found as reference for myself:

Apparently I must have been particularly motivated as I finally feel like I'm almost done with my novel! Just a little more proofreading and to tweak it for any changes after I add the images to the website and I'll be all done, so I'm feeling quite the excitement.
